Baby's Journey

Having a baby is an exciting adventure, but it also comes with a lot of preparation. The most important task for an expectant mother is to ensure the health and safety of her baby in the womb. That's where Baby's Journey can help! We provide traditional, 3D/4D and 5D ultrasound services, giving you a clear picture of your baby's development every step of the way.

Week 6+: First Visit

Your first ultrasound visit at 6 -13 weeks is quite possibly the most exciting visit you’ll have, as this is the first time you’ll be able to see your baby's heartbeat. In addition to seeing  the baby’s heartbeat during this appointment, Little Star Imaging may also be able to predict the due date and determine how many babies are in the womb. This visit typically takes about 20 to 30 minutes.

Week 14: Gender Reveal

When you go into your ultrasound at 14 weeks, Little Star Imaging will be able to determine the gender of your baby. Typically, the gender reveal is performed with a 2D/3D gender determination scan and at Little Star Imaging, we provide you with 5 -10 black and white prints of the ultrasound after your appointment.

Week 21: 3D/4D Scan

Once you have reached  at least 21 to 28 weeks in your pregnancy, you can choose to have a 3D or 4D ultrasound at your appointment. This type of ultrasound gives you a better look at your baby, and you can actually start to see some of their features developing. After your appointment, Little Star Imaging will provide you with 5 -10 black and white prints, as well as a color print! You also have the option to choose our 5D HD Live High Definition package, which includes video clips of your little star.

Anytime: Peace of Mind

Ultrasound scans are not as necessary within the third trimester, but many parents love to see how their baby has grown! As you get closer to your due date, you may also choose to get ultrasound scans at Little Star Imaging to help determine where the baby is positioned in order to prepare for birth!
